These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of security guard services by MVP Security (“Company”) to the client (“Client”). By hiring security guard services from MVP Security the Client agrees to the following terms:
1.1. The Company shall provide security guard services as agreed upon in the service contract.
1.2. Services may include but are not limited to: access control, patrolling, crowd control, monitoring, and emergency response.
1.3. The security guards will perform their duties professionally, within the limits of the law, and in accordance with company policies.
2.1. The service duration shall be specified in the service agreement between the Company and the Client.
2.2. Any changes in scheduling must be communicated in writing at least 24 hours in advance for adjustments to be considered.
2.3. Emergency or last-minute requests may be subject to additional charges.
3.1. The Client agrees to pay the Company the agreed-upon fees as stated in the service contract.
3.2. Payment shall be made via E-Transfer or Credit card before the due date of the invoice.
3.3. Late payments will incur an interest charge of 10% per month on the outstanding balance.
3.4. If payment is overdue by more than 30 days, the Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services until full payment is received.
3.5. Any additional services requested beyond the original contract will incur extra charges, which will be invoiced separately.
4.1. The Client must provide a safe working environment for security personnel.
4.2. The Client must not request security guards to perform duties outside their scope of work or against legal regulations.
4.3. The Client must notify the Company of any risks, hazards, or special instructions related to the premises or event.
5.1. The Company shall not be held liable for losses, damages, or injuries unless caused by gross negligence or misconduct by its personnel.
5.2. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims arising from incidents occurring on the Client’s premises unless due to proven negligence of the Company.
5.3. The Company is not responsible for any unlawful actions taken by third parties that are beyond the reasonable control of the security personnel.
6.1. The Client may cancel services with at least 7 days notice in writing to avoid cancellation fees.
6.2. The Company reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the Client fails to make payments, violates contractual terms, or places security personnel at risk.
6.3. Any prepaid amounts may be refunded at the discretion of the Company based on the termination circumstances.
7.1. Both parties agree to keep all information regarding security operations, client data, and proprietary details confidential.
7.2. The Company shall comply with all applicable data protection laws in handling client information.
8.1. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between both parties.
8.2. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration or legal proceedings in the jurisdiction of Alberta.
9.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada
